Captain Spotlight: Artemis

A celestial stag leaping through space with two owls

 Survival is the name of the game for Artemis. Your Captain power doesn’t kick in until you get to the Secret Rare level, so make sure that you give yourself the tools to do so! You also want to be in a good position to take advantage of your Secret Rares once you do get to them. I like to try and pick up some good Animals like Baby Bear and Hungry Hyena so that your slots have some strong buffs on them by the time you start picking up Secret Rares like Ghost Armor or Shadow. This late game power also means that I never pass up a Lich King’s Heart or Navi when I get the chance. Artemis is also one of the strongest captains at being able to collect Secret Rares; because you can actually find the characters in your shops it’s a lot easier to find Gold copies of them. Alchemistry Set and Hand of Midas are favorites of mine to help you pull together some Secret Rare Treasures even earlier than you might otherwise be able to. Happy hunting!
