Patch Preview - Magic of Summer
Are you a wizard whose only desire is to cast every spell imaginable? Well I have great news for you! Here is a sneak preview of the many buffs for the spell inclined player:
Lil Genie now upgrades her ability every turn.
Genie of the Lamp triggers every other spell (instead of every 3rd)
Faerie Godfather is now a Faerie Mage and triggers when you cast a spell on him in addition to the beginning of combat
Nightshade’s buff is doubled
Wizard of Oz is now a 15/15
This is just a taste of the many changes coming to Once Upon a Galaxy this patch.
Community Challenge #3: Immaculate Galaxy Grid
Can you fill out our Immaculate Galaxy Grid? Fill in each space with a character that matches the requirements on each side (i.e. Has Treasure Hoard, is Mythic = Ironcast Dragon). Try and get answers you think nobody else would have guessed!

Strategy Corner - Merryweather
Merryweather is one of those Captains that can really cause you to assemble your board in a different way. Typically, your support characters only work on two of your characters at a time; the two in front of it. With Merryweather, your supports can work on up to 3 characters, because they now are getting their support buff on themselves as well. While this obviously means that you’re going to want to do your best to pick up at least 2 supporters for your back slots, you actually don’t have to limit yourself so much! Support characters also work on themselves if they’re in the front row with Merryweather’s ability, so feel free to play with that Jill Sunshine as an 8/2. My favorite supports to use with Merryweather are ones like Tink and Prickles because their permanent stat buffs are improved by Merryweather’s ability as well. Also don’t forget that most supports in the game are Fae, and try and improve your Fae buffs accordingly!
